Part I: The Authentic Soul (The Colombian Weave)
A dialogue between modern design and ancient tradition.
Digital Design to Thread
Our journey begins as Pactus designers create digital drawings based on Wayuu color palettes and craft feasibility. We then manually prep and sort the thread bundles.
The Artisan Weave (7-45 Days)
Drawings and materials are delivered to the artisan families. The female artisans (Weavers) meticulously weave the bag body (a 7 to 45-day process), while the male artisans weave the incredibly tight and durable straps, leveraging their superior hand strength.
The Journey to Market
After hand-stitching the body and strap, the artisans often walk for hours to deliver the finished bags to the town center, receiving new materials for their next creation.

Our team in Colombia conducts the first round of quality control, filtering all products before they are shipped from the source.
